- Phase 3 (Fine-tune) – Add more carbs intake to your diet.
- Phase 4 (Maintenance) – In the final stage, you can eat healthy carbs as well as proteins in a balanced amount.
The Mediterranean diet
The Mediterranean diet is an ideal diet plan for losing weight. As per the diet, you must cut down on the consumption of processed foods and plant-based foods. Instead, you must eat foods rich in antioxidants that help to neutralize free radicals and increase inflammation and oxidative stress.
With this diet plan, you must emphasize eating vegetables, fruits, whole grains, fish, nuts, lentils, and olive oil. The diet does not focus on consuming dairy products such as eggs, meat, milk, and cheese.
